One of the country’s most distinguished readers and actors, Gabriel Woolf, reads a selection of much loved excerpts from Dickens finest work. In accompaniment, acclaimed pianist David Owen-Norris, the hugely talented pianist and the acclaimed soprano Amanda Pitt will perform hit songs from early Victorian theatre, some of which like ‘Cherry Ripe’ are still very popular today, and excerpts from Dickens’ 1836 opera ‘The Village Coquettes’. After the show, there will be a Dickens bookstall available to browse and buy from.
