This is Shakespeare’s classic text, bought to a contemporary audience by being set in post-WWII England, as the soldier’s return from the War to their now-independent women. Much Ado About Nothing is a comedy play and works brilliantly in this new setting. Sam Else, director, has made some alterations to the original text to bring it into this setting, and has worked hard with the actors to create the camaraderie of this time. With an original soundtrack composed by students from Leeds University.
